The Great Valley Basketball League will once again be holding its annual
youth basketball tournament on
May 31st-June 1st. This annual tournament has become one of the
areas most well organized events of the spring/summer season, with teams in attendance from
numerous mid atlantic states. It is again being played at one of the area's nicest and newer facilities,
The Westtown School in West Chester, PA. The tournament will be a 4
guaranteed game, round robin format for $395 with a multiple team discount of $375.
There will be a full concession stand and a $3 admission or a $5 weekend pass. Free admission for kids
10 & under. Proceed benefit the Great Valley Basketball League and the Great
Valley Girls High School Basketball team.

Once again GVBL will be holding its Summer Basketball League at the
GVBL Center. The league is open to ALL boys and girls going into grades 1st
through 8th. Games will be played on Monday through Thursday evenings. Games will begin
June 9th and run through August 7th.

The tournament will be held on October 28th at the Rivercrest Golf Club
in Oaks, PA. Proceeds from this event will assist GVBL in upgrading the facilities at the
current GVBL Center and raising monies to build a permanent community center. Interested in

$5.00. It always is a lot of fun!
The Great Valley Basketball League is designed to be an instructional youth
basketball league for kids within the Great Valley School District,
serving the 1st through the 12th grades. The purpose of the program
is to create a fun experience for the kids, playing and learning the
game of basketball, while competing within their peers from the surrounding
community
