This coming summer GVBL will host a variety of summer basketball camps at the GVBL Center. Weeks are

June 23-29 -
Great Valley Basketball Camp for Girls entering 6th through 9th Grades
Camp Director and Head Coach Paul Girone of the Great Valley HS Girls Basketball program will be
teaching both the individual and team fundamentals neccessary for girls to make the transition
to the high school level of play. The camp will include counselors whom were members of the
Chesmont Champion and PIAA "AAAA" state tournament participant GVHS team of 2007-2008.

July 7-11 -
Great Valley Basketball Camp for Girls entering 1st thru 5th Grades

Kiesha Mack Girls Camp
is dedicated to teaching the fundamentals and strategies of the game of basketball. It will be held
August 4-7- for Girls age 7-15 at GVBL from 8:30am- 3:00pm daily.

Herb Magee's Elite Basketball Shooting Camp
Want to improve your shooting? What better way than to learn from the best? Coach Magee is recognized
as one of the country's best shooting instructors by the NCAA and the NBA. Space is limited to 24
players only. More info and

Paul Girone has coached basketball at Great Valley High School for twenty years. As head coach of the boys’ team from 1985 to 1991, his teams amassed a 96-58 win/loss record. During that period, his teams played in two league championship games, two District l championship games, and three state tournament games. As head coach of the girls’ team for the past four years, the teams accumulated a 70-38 record while playing in the 2007 Southern Chester County League championship game and then winning the Ches-Mont League championship in 2008. That 2008 team won a school record twenty-six games and played into the second round of the state tournament. Over the years, Coach Girone has had a number of players go on to play college basketball, and he has been selected as an All Area “Coach of the Year” three times.

Patriot Pride Baseball Camp
An exciting week for kids to learn skills, play games and have tons of fun in a baseball environment.
Great Valley HS Head Baseball Coach and Physical Education Teacher Matt Schultz runs this week of
camp for the youngsters along with his staff and players. More info is available on the

exciting week of learning new skills, playing games and having fun. Great Valley High School Boys'

Patriot Pride Soccer Camp -
Advanced Training. This camp is a week of advanced training is for the player who is looking
to take their game to another level. Functional training and understanding tactical situations will be
a major portion of the week. More info is available on the

The
Patriot Pride Football Camp
will be held in July at GVHS. The camps'
focus is on learning and developing fundamental football skills, playing games,
and having fun. These non-contact camps are sponsored by GVHS varsity
coach Gary Phillips.
